What I offer at Dolce & Sonata Piano Studio:
Each student receives 33 lessons per year, billed monthly at $119. This monthly tuition stays the same for 3, 4, and 5-week months. This tuition includes lessons, various workshops, and a Spring Recital. A discounted rate of $112 is available to those who pay on or before the 1st day of the month. Students will provide their own books and materials recommended by the instructor. There are no hidden or additional fees.

Weekly lessons
Students will receive regularly scheduled, weekly, 30-minute private lessons. Students of every level will have hands-on experience playing the grand piano every lesson with individualized instruction. The ability to attend a standing lesson appointment (same time and same day of the week) is required for your student's success and because the instructor does not have unlimited time to schedule make-up lessons.

Summer Lessons
Summer lessons are offered for those interested. They can be taken in a package of lessons, or as you are available during the summer.

Workshops
Optional workshops will be offered in the place of a lesson throughout the year if the student wishes. These will be 60-minute opportunities to practice performing in front of peers, focusing on relevant skills (such as memorization approaching a recital, or notation reading) through games and activities with their peers. These are a great opportunity for students to dip their toes in performance and build camaraderie with other students.

Spring Recital
Recitals are not required but are highly encouraged. Our 2025 recital took place in May at a professional recital hall, Welch Music Center. Students may choose to memorize their pieces, or not. Overall, this is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for students to show-off their polished progress to family and friends.
